Whether you are working with websites or WordPress blogs sometimes you just need to find some great vectors or logos to help jazz up the appearance of your posts, sidebar or header on your site.  There is a very impressive free vector search engine that helps you quickly and easily find the vectors or logos you need without having to worry about blowing your budget.

imageVector.me has hundreds of thousands of free vector files that you can browse and choose from, all you need to do is search for what you are looking for in the top search bar.  In my example I was looking for some creative Twitter logos to help spice up a new social media article.

A very fast search result gives you plenty of choices to help narrow down what you are looking for, this starts with selecting the specific file type, choosing the color of the logo or vector you want and also whether you just want to find free vector images or find free logo images.

You almost always get a wide variety of formats when downloading these vectors too, many come with PNG, PSD files of the images in various sizes, and .ai and .svg files are also present.  Others are just .ai files so you have to check the file types listed for the image.

Even if you don’t have Adobe Illustrator to open those .AI files you can use the latest version of Adobe PDF Reader which can open the AI files for you, though you cannot edit them you can save them as a jpg and then open them in your favorite image editing program you already own, or a free program like Paint.NET or GIMP.

You can find great backgrounds for documents, designs for static websites or as I mentioned vectors to help spice up posts, sidebars or mailing list newsletters.  There is a wide variety of topics to choose from and range from Agriculture to Wine and everything in between.

If you are looking for free vectors or free logos then I recommend you visit Vector.me and take a look to see if you can find something that fits what your looking for, it is very easy to search for, filter and find a free vector to use.  Also if you create vectors you may want to upload some of your library and contribute to the free Vector library offering your designs to other designers.  You can choose to list your vector as Freeware or Creative Commons where others should provide link attribution if they use your vector.
